Fausto Guio is the Brooklyn born native New Yorker who began his quest in the music industry soon after attending Center For The Media Arts as a recording engineer and audio video editor. Prior to his arrival in Europe collaborating with various Italian Artists and Producers, Fausto Guio began spinning records as a mobile DJ with his longtime friend Danny Roman of the East Village area of Downtown Manhattan; emulating Shep Pettibone and Larry Levan. Together they would befriend New York City's fiercest DJ Tony Smith who groomed Fausto as Light Coordinator at the club "NETWORK". Tony Smith showed Fausto how to "Drop" the mix, Freak the Crowds and make all the ladies in the house say "OW". After the gigs they would all head over to another hotspot named "FUNHOUSE" manned by Tony's great friend John Jellybean Benitez and they'd cold-rock the crowds. Always.... Upon arriving in Milano,Italy of 1990; Fausto landed a DJ gig at the club "CHEVROLET" of Desio, where he teamed up with the amazingly talented Italian DJ Ricky Trauma aka: RazorBlades. Together the Duo were slammin' HOUSE, ACID, TECHNO, HIP HOP, and SKA with their unique styles and techniques that had everyone paying attention. In fact, they were paid a visit by a New York DJ/remixer Tony Carrasco. That year Tony Carrasco invited Fausto to a club located in the heart of Milano to MC/Rap and mix some trax on opening night. Needless to say Fausto aka The Faust rocked the crowd emulating Tony Smith as the DJ, Chuck-D as the Rap Artist; and this was only the beginning. Fausto Guio would later collaborate on many projects with Tony Carrasco and successfully tour throughout Italy. They both went on to write and produce House and Techno Tracks for Flying Records and eventually initiated the first releases on the UMM Underground Music Movement record label. Later in 1992 the Lead Vocalist and Co founder of Italy's Hardcore Thrash Metal band "BULLDOZER" Alberto Contini (A.C. WILD)and their producer Andrea Leonardi (Bratt Sinclaire) arranged a meeting with Tony Carrasco for Fausto Guio to collaborate on a project together titled "Dance Got Sick" (The Trilogy). - Fausto accepted. Accompanied by Alberto Contini to the studio “Sound and Vision” - 3 hours away from Milano in the village of Mantova, Fausto began writing the lyrics for the tracks. Upon arriving he would meet the owner/producer/artist Giancarlo Pasquini (Dave Rodgers) -and his wife/artist Alessandra Gattti "Domino". Within 10 minutes the Rap session was complete and everyone gagging with excitement. A couple of weeks later Alberto Contini phoned Fausto Guio on their success as the tracks were Licensed and released by Avex Trax Japan. It also gave birth to many Hits, and to Fausto's new alias a.k.a. Dr. D.O.P.E (Dominator Of Powerful Energy). In 1994 Fausto Guio wrote his first Major Hit with Bratt Sinclaire for Metal Minded Maniacs titled "F.A.Y." which Blew the Roof off the entire Techno genre completely. Cultivating Hardcore Metal and TECHNO into what is now known today as the International Anthem of HYPER TECHNO. The following year Fausto began writing for many amazing artists and groups of Italian House, Techno, HI NRG, J-POP, and the Eurobeat genre. He's also written Billboards International Hits for Japanese POP groups "V-6" (Beat Your Heart) under “Hinoky Team” and The Alfee. In between laying tracks and writing songs, Fausto had continued touring and rocking the club scenes in Rimini, Forte di Marmi, Viareggio, and every Hot Spot in Europe that was slammin’. Amsterdam was so Phenominal they had to rock it twice. In 1997 Fausto decided to return to New York, but by then the political - administrations had shut down most of the musical nucleus and everyone seemed to bounce to Miami. It was Tragic. In 2004 Fausto returned to Italy and reunited with Bratt Sinclaire and Andrea Panigada for some unfinished business. Together they assembled the ultimate team “The Hyper Trio” for SINCLAIRESTYLE. In 2006 Fausto wrote the massive innovated track "Fight Fire With Fire 2007" for the group EXDREAM. Unable to stop, Fausto Guio is currently continuing cracking concrete with ground breaking productions as a member of SINCLAIRESTYLE's “Hyper Trio” while writing for groups: PENTAGON, The Prophet, Vamps along with BULLDOZER co founder Andrea Panigada, and his right hand man Bratt Sinclaire. His Song catalogs are listed throughout the World Wide Web on [http//www.Discogs. com], Avex Trax Japan, and [http//www.Sinclairestyle.net] He's Raw, Hardcore, and what the Techno/Trance Nation have been waiting for.... The Real Deal….. Stay Tuned. |
